The University of Oklahoma
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

Various forms of financial assistance are available to students in the Master of Accountancy (MAcc) program. Due to the generosity of several benefactors, including the Steed Family, the Steed School of Accounting is able to offer a variety of scholarships to Master of Accountancy students who exhibit the potential for outstanding academic and professional achievement. Scholarships range from $500 to $2,500 per year and are renewable for up to four semesters (excluding summers). All applicants to the MAcc program indicating the intent to enroll full-time are considered for scholarships. Awards are made initially based primarily on applicants' prior academic success and scores on the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT). Renewal requires the student to maintain full-time status and to meet GPA requirements.

A limited number of graduate assistantships are also available from the School of Accounting. Assistantships require students to devote up to ten hours per week assisting a professor in the delivery of an undergraduate course and/or their research. Assistantships are awarded based primarily on prior academic success, especially in undergraduate accounting coursework. Applicants interested in an assistantship should indicate their interest on the Supplemental Application submitted to the Price College Admissions Office.

Loans and grants are also available through the OU Office of Financial Aid as well as through outside organizations like the AICPA
