The Masters program is open to qualified students with undergraduate degrees from accredited universities regardless of undergraduate major.
Those without an undergraduate degree in accounting from an AACSB-accredited university will be required to fulfill a series of accounting prerequisites which may be met after admission into the program.
Admission decisions are based on a number of factors including undergraduate/graduate grade point average, GMAT score, employment history, letters of recommendation, and a statement of the applicant's personal goals. Admission recommendations are made on a rolling basis once all application materials are received.
Students are generally not admittable with undergraduate GPAs of less than 3.00 or GMAT scores of less than 500. As a guideline to applicants, a total GMAT score of approximately 600 and a grade point average of 3.40 (on a 4.00 scale) in undergraduate coursework would be representative of students currently in the program.
International students for whom English is a second language must also demonstrate proficiency in English. Proficiency is generally demonstrated by an official TOEFL score of 600 on the paper-based test (250 on the computer-based test or 100 on the internet-based test) and a verbal subscore from the GMAT at or above the 40th percentile.
