DIRECTOR, CENTER FOR FINANCIAL STUDIES</p>

    PhD (Pennsylvania) Professor Fernando's research interests are in corporate finance, corporate risk management, liquidity risk in financial markets, and energy markets. He has several publications to his credit, including articles in major refereed journals such as the Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, Journal of Financial Intermediation, Journal of Financial Markets, Financial Management, Journal of Regulatory Economics, Energy Journal and European Journal of Operational Research. He is the recipient of several research awards and eight research grants, including three from the World Bank, and one each from the National Science Foundation, the Sloan Foundation and the Research Grants Council of Hong Kong. He is also a Senior Fellow at the Wharton Risk and Decision Processes Center and a Research Fellow at the Wharton Financial Institutions Center. He has held faculty appointments at the University of Michigan Business School and Tulane University's A.B. Freeman School of Business where he received the MBA Teacher of the Year award. He has also served on the faculty of the Carnegie-Mellon Program for Executives and as a Research Associate at the World Bank. He has lectured on corporate and international finance, and risk management topics to executives in the U.S., Europe and Asia. Professor Fernando has been cited for his teaching in three Business Week surveys of business schools. Dr. Fernando received the Ph.D. in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania; M.A. in Applied Economics from the University of Pennsylvania; M.S. in Management from the Sloan School of Management, Massachusetts Institute of Technology; M.S. in Technology and Policy from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Massachusetts Institute of Technology; and the B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering with First Class Honors from the University of Sri Lanka.

  • <h3>MARK BOLINO</h3><p>ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OF MANAGEMENT</p>

    PhD (South Carolina) Professor Bolino teaches in the areas of organizational behavior and international business. His research focuses on employees' willingness to go the extra mile for their organizations, ingratiation and self-promotion in the workplace, global careers and the psychological contracts between employers and their employees. Professor Bolino's research has been published in the Academy of Management Executive, Academy of Management Review, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management, Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Organizational Research Methods and Personnel Psychology, among others. He currently serves on the editorial review boards of the Journal of Organizational Behavior and the Journal of Managerial Issues, and he is an ad hoc reviewer for several other journals. Professor Bolino is a member of the Academy of Management. Before joining Price College, he was a faculty member at the University of Notre Dame.

  • <h3>DIPANKAR GHOSH</h3><P>PROFESSOR OF ACCOUNTING</P>

    PhD (Penn State) Professor Ghosh's teaching interests are in the area of managerial accounting, designing cost systems and strategic cost analysis. His primary research interests are also in managerial accounting, specifically, accounting information for judgment and decision making, management control systems, performance measures, negotiation, transfer pricing and ethics. Professor Ghosh has published a number of manuscripts in Accounting, Organization and Society, Decisions Sciences, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Process, Behavioral Research in Accounting, Journal of Management Accounting Research, Journal of Conflict Resolution, Journal of Business Ethics and Management Accounting. He coauthored a research monograph, Applying Activity-based Costing in Healthcare, published by the Foundation of Applied Research, Institute on Management Accountant, New Jersey. Professor Ghosh has presented several papers at national and international conferences in the area of managerial accounting and decision making and is a reviewer for a number of journals. His professional experience includes serving as an auditor with Deloitte and Touche and as a management accountant for a multinational manufacturing firm. Professor Ghosh is the Chair of the Glen McLaughlin Research Prize Committee for the School of Accounting.

    PhD (Iowa), Professor Ayres' teaching interests are in the areas of financial accounting, financial accounting theory, economics of accounting choice, and the interaction between tax and financial reporting. She has published in the Journal of Accounting and Economics, Journal of Accounting Research, The Accounting Review and other academic and professional journals. Professor Ayres is a past Peat Marwick Research Fellow and Peat Marwick Faculty Fellow. She serves as an ad hoc reviewer for several journals and has served on the editorial boards of The Accounting Review and Journal of Accounting and Public Policy. She is past editor of the Journal of the American Taxation Association. She is an associate editor (tax) for Accounting Horizons. Her research interests focus on the impact of taxation and financial information and disclosure on managers and investors.

  • <h3>JEFF WALLMAN</h3><p>ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF MARKETING</p>

    Professor Wallman's (Ph. D. - University of Wisconsin - Madison) teaching interests are in the areas of new product development, marketing management and marketing strategy. His research interests are in the areas of entrepreneurship, marketing management and marketing strategy. Prior to working in academia, he worked as a management consultant for the MAC group and Management Horizons, Division of Price Waterhouse LLP and later owned his own consulting practice. He also worked as a vice-president/general manager for a division of Louis Dreyfus Corporation, a subsidiary of the Louis Dreyfus Group. Prior to obtaining his Ph.D. at the University of Wisconsin, he received his BSS from Cornell College and his M.M. from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University.

  • <h3>LOWELL BUSENITZ</h3><p>McCASLAND FOUNDATION PROFESSOR OF
AMERICAN FREE ENTERPRISE,<br/>PROFESSOR OF MANAGEMENT</p>

    PhD (Texas A&M) Professor Busenitz teaches in the areas of entrepreneurship and strategic management. He also serves as the Academic Director for the Center for Entrepreneurship in the Price College.

    Professor Busenitz's research focuses on entrepreneurial cognition in the development of new ideas and ventures, strategic decision making and how entrepreneurs differ, and the relationship between venture capitalists and the entrepreneurs they fund. Professor Busenitz has published over 25 journal articles on entrepreneurship and venture capital in the Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Journal of Business Venturing, Journal of Management, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Academy of Management Executive and Journal of High Technology Management Research, among others. His research has also been discussed in The Economist and Psychology Today and he has won a number of best paper awards from presentations made at national and international conferences.

    Professor Busenitz is a member of the Academy of Management, Strategic Management Society, Society of Entrepreneurship Scholars and Beta Gamma Sigma. He has had numerous student teams from his business plan classes win top awards in business plan competitions.

  • <h3>LOUIS EDERINGTON</h3><p>MICHAEL F. PRICE CHAIR IN FINANCE AND<br/>PROFESSOR OF FINANCE</p>

    PhD (Washington) Professor Ederington's research interests include fixed-income securities, futures and options, the impact of new information on financial markets, financial markets and institutions and interest-rate structure. He has written widely cited articles on hedging. His research has been published in a number of refereed journals, including the Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, Journal of Business, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Financial Analysts Journal, Journal of Banking and Finance, The Financial Review, Financial Management, The Journal of Financial Research and the Journal of Money, Credit and Banking. Professor Ederington is associate editor of the Journal of Banking and Finance and Accounting and Finance. He has previously served as associate editor of the Journal of Financial Research, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis and Financial Management. He has also served as director of the Financial Management Association and the Southern Finance Association and as a vice president of awards for the Financial Management Association. In 1993-94, Professor Ederington served as economic advisor to the deputy prime minister of the Republic of Georgia. He advised the government on monetary policy, fiscal policy, foreign exchange arrangements and privatization, in addition to assisting the government in negotiations with the IMF and World Bank. A recent article in the Journal of Finance Literature (2005) ranks Professor Ederington among the 50 most published authors in the top seven finance journals.

  • <h3>M. CHRIS KNAPP</h3><p>MCLAUGHLIN CHAIR IN BUSINESS ETHICS
AND<br/>PROFESSOR OF ACCOUNTING</p>

    PhD (Oklahoma) Professor Knapp teaches auditing, financial accounting and cost accounting classes at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. His primary research interests focus on policy issues related to the professional practice of public accounting and on behavioral issues concerning the auditor-client dyad. Professor Knapp's work has appeared in The Accounting Review, Journal of Accountancy, Auditing: A Journal of Practice and Theory, Behavioral Research in Accounting, Journal of Accounting, Auditing and Finance, Advances in Accounting and the Los Angeles Times. Professor Knapp has also published four textbooks: E-Commerce: Real Issues and Cases (2003); Contemporary Auditing: Issues and Cases (1993, 1996, 1999, 2001, 2004, and 2006); Financial Accounting, Issues and Cases (1994); and Accounting, A Focus on Decision Making (1996 and 1998). Each was published by South-Western College Publishing. He is a certified public accountant and a certified management accountant. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Institute of Management Accounting, American Accounting Association and Oklahoma Society of Public Accountants. He was named the Outstanding Oklahoma Accounting Educator for 1998-99 by the Oklahoma Society of CPAs.

  • <h3>NIM RAZOOK</h3><p>DAVID ROSS BOYD PROFESSOR
OF LEGAL STUDIES</p>

    JD (Oklahoma) Professor Razook's teaching interests include the legal environment, ethics and commercial law. During his tenure at OU, Professor Razook has earned numerous teaching awards, including the University Regents', Baldwin, Merrick and General Education Teaching Awards, two MBA Professor of the Year awards, two Howard Hackler MBA Awards, the Hurley Robertson Teaching Award and several Student Business Association awards. He was named the Exxon Teaching Fellow in 1995-96, the Gerald Bowlby Teaching Fellow in 1997-98 and David Ross Boyd Professor in 2004. Professor Razook's research interests are primarily in the area of tort reform, product liability law, issues of federalism associated with federal commercial legislation and the scope of the judicial review of congressional actions under the Commerce Clause. His publications have appeared in numerous law and business-related academic journals. He is the former editor in chief of the Journal of Legal Studies Education and current staff editor of the American Business Law Journal.

  • <h3>PRADEEP YADAV</h3><p>W. ROSS JOHNSTON CHAIR IN FINANCE
AND<br/> PROFESSOR OF FINANCE</p>

    PhD (Strathclyde, U.K.). Professor Yadav's research and consulting interests are in market microstructure; options; futures; risk management; ownership structure and corporate governance; and mergers and acquisitions. He has published extensively in leading Finance journals like the Journal of Finance, the Journal of Financial Economics, the Journal of Banking and Finance, Mathematical Finance, the Journal of Futures Markets and the Journal of Derivatives. Professor Yadav was awarded the New York Stock Exchange Prize for best paper on Market Microstructure in 2003, the 2002 Robert J. Schwartz Memorial Prize of the Fisher Black Memorial Foundation and the International Association of Financial Engineers for the most original research paper on derivatives, the Chicago Board of Trade Prize for Best Paper on Futures in 1993, and the UK Q-Group Best Paper Prize for 1989. Before coming to Price College, Professor Yadav served as Professor and Chair of Finance at Lancaster University in England; and as full-time Visiting Professor at the Stern School at New York University and the Anderson School in the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). Professor Yadav was elected as Vice-President (2003) and as President (2004) of the European Finance Association; and was appointed Academic Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales in 1992. He currently serves on the Board of Advisors of the Center for Analytical Finance at the Indian School of Business. Before joining academia, Professor Yadav worked as managing director and deputy managing director in public sector corporations, and in other senior public sector management positions. He also has served as a non-executive Director and as non-executive Chair on the Board of Directors of several corporations.

    PhD (Arizona) Professor Zmud teaches in the areas of information systems, electronic business, information systems management and technology management. His research interests focus on the impact of information technology in facilitating a variety of organizational behaviors and on organizational efforts involved with planning, managing and diffusing information technology. His scholarly publications have appeared in such journals as Management Science, Organization Science, Information Systems Research, MIS Quarterly, Decision Sciences, Academy of Management Journal and Academy of Management Review. Professor Zmud currently is a senior editor of Information Systems Research and MISQ Executive; and he serves on the editorial boards of Management Science and Academy of Management Review, among other journals. Previously, he was editor in chief of MIS Quarterly and a founding senior editor of Organization Science. Professor Zmud is a Fellow of both the Decision Science Institute and the Association of Information Systems, currently serves as the co-chair of the Academic Council of the Business Technology Management Institute, and formerly served as the Research Director of the Advanced Practices Council of SIM, International (1992 through 2004).

HAROLD S. COOKSEY LECTURER IN RISK MANAGEMENT</p>

    PhD (Purdue) Professor Linn's research and teaching interests include corporate finance; corporate governance; risk management, including investment and portfolio management; the behavior of security prices; the behavior of intermediaries in real markets; and energy markets. His research articles have been published in the Journal of Financial Economics, Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Management Science, Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Futures Markets, Review of Futures Markets and Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting, among others. He serves as an Associate Editor for the journal International Review of Economics and Finance (Elsevier Science). Professor Linn is a member of the American Finance Association, American Economics Association, Western Finance Association and Financial Management Association. He also holds the title of visiting professor in the Department of Accounting and Finance at the University of Strathclyde (U.K.). He has served as director of the Financial Management Association and as Director of the Division of Finance and Center for Financial Studies at Price College. During the spring 2005 semester professor Linn was a visiting scholar in the Department of Finance and Quantitative Analysis at the University of Otago in New Zealand. Professor Linn also holds an M.S. in Operations Research from Rutgers University.

  • <h3>TERESA SHAFT</h3><p>ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OF MANAGEMENT
INFORMATION SYSTEMS</p>

    PhD (Penn State) Professor Shaft teaches systems analysis and design and project management. Her research interests include the cognitive processes used by IS professionals during system development and maintenance, the role of IS in environmental management and obtaining value from IT investments. Her work has been published in Information Systems Research, Management Information Systems Quarterly, Journal of Management Information Systems, Business and Society, Database Advances, Behavior and Information Technology and Journal of Industrial Ecology. She has given numerous presentations at national conferences and is a reviewer for several journals. Professor Shaft is a member of the Association for Information Systems (AIS) and the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Science. She is a co-founder of IS-CORE, a special interest group of AIS. In 2001 she won the Advancia award for MIS teaching excellence. Before entering graduate school, she worked as a software engineer. Her research has been supported by grants from the National Science Foundation.

  • <h3>WILLIAM MEGGINSON</h3><p>RAINBOLT CHAIR IN FINANCE
AND<br/> PROFESSOR OF FINANCE</p>

    PhD (Florida State) Professor Megginson's research interests include international finance and corporate finance issues such as capital structure, venture capital and entrepreneurial finance, dividend policy and corporate control. Much of his recent research has focused on the privatization of state-owned enterprises, and he has recently served as a paid consultant for the Italian government, the New York Stock Exchange, the OECD, the International Federation of Stock Exchanges and Harvard and Princeton universities on the subject of listing privatized-firm shares on American stock markets. His teaching interests include corporate, international and entrepreneurial finance, and he won two teaching awards at the University of Georgia. Professor Megginson has published articles in several academic journals, including the Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, Journal of Economic Literature, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Journal of Money, Credit, and Banking and Financial Management. His 1994 paper documenting performance improvements for newly privatized firms won a Smith Breeden Distinguished Paper Award for outstanding research published in the Journal of Finance. In addition, the paper has been reprinted by several publishing firms and organizations, including the World Bank. Professor Megginson is an associate editor for the Journal of Financial Research and has authored or co-authored four textbooks. Prior to entering academia, he worked for five years as a petroleum chemist in the oil refining and petrochemical industries.
