Cindy Lopez holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in international relations from Mount Vernon College, and a Master of Arts degree in international relations from Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies.
Lopez's experience includes working at the World Bank, the United States Agency for International Development, and as an adjunct instructor for the University of Oklahoma and Andes University.In her position at the World Bank, Lopez coordinated and supervised executive-level activities required for the financing of projects. She has studied abroad in Paris and worked in Bolivia, Mexico, Colombia, and Washington, D.C. Lopez brings her extensive international background and teaching experience to the JCPenney Leadership Center.
Mrs. Lopez is originally from Norman, Oklahoma, graduating from Norman High School.
