Veljko fotak

Veljko Fotak earned a BS degree in Business Administration, an MBA with a concentration in Finance and an MS in Applied Statistics from the Rochester Institute of Technology, in Rochester, NY. His previous experiences include fund management in the Swiss insurance industry and research and planning related to the valuation and financing of emerging technologies. Veljko's working papers include The Impact of Blog Recommendations on Security Prices and Trading Volumes, Does Naked Short Selling Matter? Evidence from Regulation SHO (with Vikas Raman and Pradeep Yadav), The Impact of SWF Investments on Listed Companies (with Bernardo Bortolotti and William Megginson) and Volatility Transfer in the Oil and Natural Gas Markets (with Scott Linn and Zhen Zhu). His hobbies include playing music (mostly percussion instruments), swimming, reading and traveling. Veljko entered the OU Finance PhD program in Fall 2006.
