Computer Lab Services
Price College maintains five general use computer labs, three graduate labs, the Business Communication Center, and one lab dedicated for programming in each Adams Hall and Price Hall.
These labs are available for use by all students enrolled in a Price College course and may be reserved by faculty and staff.
Support staff for the computer labs are responsible for:
- Installing, updating and maintaining relevant hardware and software in all labs
- Providing one-on-one programming and software tutoring to Price College students
- Maintaining a computer lab reservation system to accommodate instruction
- Offering customized equipment set-up, training and support for portable computer and instructional hardware for check-out by faculty and staff
Faculty and Staff Computer Support
The Price College Help Deskis an online service request system through which faculty and staff can request service, updates, and additions for their personal computers.
Personal computer support includes:
- Acquisition, installation and maintenance of computer hardware
- Installation of operating systems, security patches and appropriate drivers
- Software installation, maintenance and troubleshooting
- Individual and network printer configuration
- Installation of antivirus software and virus removal
- Setup of file sharing services and backup and recovery through the PCB Network
