Charlene has been an employee of the University of Oklahoma since 1985, and has been with Price Academic Advising Services since 1989. Prior to her appointment as the Director she served 10 years as an academic counselor. She is a member of the National Academic Advising Association and a charter member of the Oklahoma Academic Advising Association. Charlene taught Gateway to College Learning for 10 years as well as a discussion section of Strategies for Success for 4 years. She earned a B.A. and M.Ed. from the University of Oklahoma.

Cristela originally hails from Dallas, TX but arrives at OU after a 4 year tour in England where she travelled extensively throughout Europe. In England, she provided academic counseling to active duty airmen, soldiers and sailors. She has worked for the United States Air Force as a civilian employee, in non-profit arts management and as a middle school teacher. Her spare time is spent as an actor/singer in area productions. Cristela received her B.A. in Theater from Texas Wesleyan University and is currently doing leveling courses for admission into a graduate program.

José, an OU alumnus, graduated in 2005 with a B.A. in Psychology and is currently pursuing his Master of Public Administration degree. Before joining Price Academic Advising Services in October of 2006, José worked for Youth Services for Oklahoma County, Inc. as the Director of the Community Intervention Center and has previously served as a substance abuse counselor for the State of Oklahoma. He is a member of the National Academic Advising Association and the Oklahoma Academic Advising Association.

Kendra graduated in 2004 with a B.A. in Native American Studies and in 2005 with an M.Ed. in Education Administration from OU. Before joining the Undergraduate Advising office, Kendra worked with the American Indian Institute of the College of Continuing Education as an Education Consultant and an Academic Advisor to American Indian Students in Norman Public Schools. She is a proud member of the Comanche Nation.

Ali graduated with Distinction in 2000 with a B.A. in Psychology. She completed her Master of Social Work degree in July 2008.For her master's practicum during her final two semesters, she provided mental health counseling and career counseling to OU students at Goddard's Counseling and Testing Services.
Before joining Price Academic Advising Services in 2004, Ali worked with the University's Center for Public Management and with the Department of Human Services of Oklahoma County.Like many members of the PAAS team, her attention-to-detail (which she jokingly refers to as OCD) sometimes borders on the pathological.In her free time, Ali enjoys travelling, reading, and rearranging her furniture at 4 a.m.Ali is a member of the National Academic Advising Association and she is responsible for training all new counselors at PAAS.Ali also serves as the liaison to the School of Accounting and acts as the undergraduate coordinator for the BBA/MAcc program students.

Dalynda joined Price College in 1999. She earned a bachelor's degree in Public Relations from the University of Denver and a master's degree in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma. She taught 'Gateway to College Learning' for five years through OU's Freshman Programs. Before coming to Price College, Dalynda had 12 years of retail management experience. She lived in Colorado and New York and traveled to Canada, England, France, Italy and Mexico. Ms. Evans is also a doctoral graduate student of geography through the College of Atmospheric and Geographic Sciences.

Sherry joined Price Academic Advising Services after two years as the Certification Officer in the College of Education. She is a very active fundraiser and supporter of the music programs in Norman Public Schools, serving as the coordinator of A Taste of Norman for the past three years. Sherry is pursuing a degree in Liberal Studies at the University of Oklahoma

Tanya joined Price College as a Peak Temporary Employee in July 2002 and became a fulltime employee October 2002. In September 2003 she moved to the position of Assistant to the Director of Price Academic Advising Services. Tanya attended City College and received a certification for Legal Office Administration.

Sarah Fox came to Price College in January of 2008 from a teaching position at Westmoore High School. Sarah also served students in the University Libraries for nearly five years. She continues to share her time and talent with the Pioneer Library System.
Sarah earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy with a minor in History from OU. Ms. Fox completed coursework in education for teaching certification from 2005-2007. Ms. Fox studied Japanese for two years and has visited Japan, Australia, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and the Bahamas. She is looking forward her first trip to Europe in Summer of 2008. She is also investigating the Master of Library and Information Studies degree.

Talisha earned her B.A. in Communications from San Francisco State University and her M. Ed. from Langston University. Before coming to OU, Talisha was a substitute teacher for the Stockton Unified School District in Stockton, CA and a GEAR UP Counselor for Oklahoma City Public Schools.

Vickie is originally from Toronto, Canada. Prior to moving to Oklahoma, she lived in San Jose, California. She earned her Associate's Degree in Retail Management from Sheridan College in Toronto.
Vickie's work experience is varied. She is a Certified Health Care Aid and worked in an Alzheimer's ward for seven years. She also has extensive retail management experience with several different retail stores in Canada.
Vickie joined the Price Academic Advising Team as a peak employee and became a permanent staff member in April 2007. She is very involved in her church, enjoys crafts, painting and playing bells.

Emily graduated in 2006 with a B.B.A. in Business Management from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Before joining the Price Academic Advising office she worked as a Sales Representative for Dell Computers.Emily joined the Price Academic Advising office in April 2008 as a Peak employee and became a full time employee as the Knowledge Management Coordinator in August 2008.
