PhD (Michigan State) Professor Daugherty's primary research interests include reverse logistics, outsourcing and supply chain relationships. She is the immediate past editor of the Journal of Business Logistics. She has been published in a wide range of academic journals, including International Journal of Logistics Management, International Journal of Physical Distribution and Logistics Management, Journal of Business Logistics, Journal of Marketing Research and The Logistics and Transportation Review. In addition, Professor Daugherty has co-authored two books: Competitive Positioning for the 1990s and Logistical Excellence: It's Not Business as Usual. Professor Daugherty has consulted with a number of firms, including The Gillette Company, Nabisco Foods, Owens-Corning Fiberglas and Ralston Purina Company. She is a member of the Academy of Marketing Science, American Marketing Association, and the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals. She is president of the Oklahoma Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals Roundtable and serves on the editorial boards of six journals.

SAMIR BARMAN [Top]Samir Barman
PROFESSOR OF MARKETING AND SUPPLY
CHAIN MANAGEMENT

PhD (Clemson) Professor Barman teaches production/ operations management, management science and quantitative methods. His research interests include aggregate production planning, job shop scheduling and inventory modeling. He has published in the Journal of Operations Management, Production and Operations Management, Decision Sciences, IIE Transactions, International Journal of Production Research, Simulation, Omega, Computers and Industrial Engineering, Production and Inventory Management, The Logistics and Transportation Review and European Journal of Operational Research, among others. He is a member of Decision Sciences Institute, the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Science, American Production and Inventory Control Society, Production and Operations Management Society and the honor societies of Beta Gamma Sigma and Phi Kappa Phi. Professor Barman has served on the editorial review board of the Production and Operations Management journal and is an ad hoc reviewer for several other journals.

MLA (Oklahoma City) Professor Hobbs' primary teaching emphasis is in marketing. He has co-authored papers published in professional journals and periodicals. As coordinator of Applied Business Programs, Professor Hobbs is responsible for coordinating the Scholarship Program, internships and co-ops for Price College. Prior to joining the University of Oklahoma, he was president of a restaurant supply distributorship and also served as a division finance officer in the U.S. Army.

JACK J. KASULIS [Top]Jack Kasulis
ASSOCIATE DEAN FOR UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS AND ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OF MARKETING AND SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT

PhD (Northwestern) Professor Kasulis has served in a wide range of administrative positions at the Price College at the University of Oklahoma. These include serving three terms as Associate Dean, Director of the MBA Program, Director of the Division of Management, Director of the CBA Certificate Program, and Director of CBA Executive Programs, CBA Coordinator of Advanced Programs in business. 

Dr. Kasulis has been active in national management education associations. He has been Chair of the board of trustees of the Graduate Management Admission Council and has served that organization in a variety of other capacities, including being Vice Chair of the board of trustees and Chair of the Research and Test Development, Educational Programs, Trusteeship, and Strategic Planning Committees. He has also served on committees of the American Assembly of Collegiate Schools of Business and the Association of Directors of Doctoral Programs in Business as well as on the National Advisory Panel on Graduate Management Education Innovation. 

His research focuses on retailing/channel strategy and consumer behavioral research. Articles have appeared in a variety of academic journals, including the Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, International Journal of Logistics Management, Journal of Advertising Research, Journal of Business Research, European Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Channels, Retailing Issues Letter, Energy Journal, Journal of Resources and Energy, Oklahoma Bar Journal, and Journal of Leisure Research.

His consultative activities have been in retailing (convenience, gift, restaurant, grocery, furniture, discount department store, automotive, and hardware), services, and media (magazine, newspaper, and radio) as well as non-profit organizations. He has been selected for United's Who's Who of Executives and Professionals and Beta Gamma Sigma and is a member of the American Marketing Association, Academy of Management, and Academy of Marketing Science

TIMOTHY D. LANDRY [Top]Tim Landry
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF MARKETING AND
SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT

 PhD (Missouri) Professor Landry's teaching interests are in marketing research, buyer behavior, electronic marketing, sales, and retailing. His research interests include retailer community embeddedness and customer loyalty, online privacy/security and retailer trustworthiness, and interpersonal dynamics in sales and service encounters. Additionally, he is involved in research addressing nonprofit marketing, the implications of stereotyping in advertising, and the deterrence of materialism and excessive personal consumption. 
Professor Landry has been published in the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Nonprofit and Public Sector Marketing, Journal of Personal Selling and Sales Management, Journal of Relationship Marketing, Journal of Retailing, Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, Business Horizons and various national and international conference proceedings. He is an active member of the Academy of Marketing Science and the American Collegiate Retailing Association. He serves on the editorial review board for the Journal of Personal Selling and Sales Management. Before joining Price College, he was an assistant professor at Florida State University.

Soonhong Min
SOONHONG MIN [Top]
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF MARKETING AND
SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT

Ph.D. (Tennessee) Professor Min's teaching and research interests include issues in the marketing concept and a market orientation in a channel setting, a theory and practice of supply chain management, marketing and logistics strategic interface, buyer-seller relationships (strategic level issues of alliances and organizational working relationships), strategic issues in international joint ventures/alliances and industrial marketing. Professor Min has published in the Journal of Business Logistics, Journal of Retailing, International Journal of Physical Distribution and Logistics Management, International Journal of Logistics Management, International Marketing Review, Journal of Business and Industrial Marketing, Journal of Marketing Theory and Practice, Multinational Business Review, E-Business Review, and Business Horizons. In addition, he co-authored a book titled Supply Chain Management. Before his academic career, Professor Min had several marketing and outsourcing positions at the University of Michigan and IBM and served as a consultant for a multinational company and a famine relief organization.

ANTHONY S. ROATH [Top]
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF MARKETING AND SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT

PhD (Michigan State) Professor Roath's teaching interests lie in the areas of supply chain management, international marketing and logistics management. His research addresses the efficiency of global logistics systems and relationship management of cross-border alliances.

Professor Roath has been published in The Transportation Journal, International Journal of Logistics Management, the Journal of World Business, the Journal of Business Research, Journal of Business Logistics, and the Journal of International Business.

BETTY ROBBINS [Top]Betty Robbins
CLINICAL PROFESSOR OF BUSINESS COMMUNICATION

PhD (University of Oklahoma) Professor Robbins directs the program in Business Communication for the Price College and teaches a variety of courses in OU's Film & Video Studies Program. She has published in the Journal of Gender Studies of London and currently reviews articles for that publication. She has presented papers at conferences for the Association of Business Communication, Western Literature, Studies in Pop Culture, and Film & Video Studies. Professor Robbins has won awards for teaching and for outstanding work as a doctoral student. Current projects include authoring a book titled A Flat World Curriculum: Persuasion & Promotion for the Business Professional, professional editing, and writing articles for campus publications. Professional memberships include the Association for Business Communication, the Society for Cinema Studies, and the Western Literature Association. In the spring of 2005, in collaboration with Film & Video Studies Chair Andy Horton, Professor Robbins taught one of President Boren's first "Dream Courses," titled Women Filmmakers Up Close.

PhD (Michigan State University) Professor Schmidt's research interests include managerial decision-making during new product development; the new product development process; new product performance; adaptation of products for international markets; and escalation of commitment. His teaching interests include marketing principles, marketing management, business marketing, product development and management, management of innovation, and marketing research. He is published in Marketing Science, Decision Sciences, Journal of Business Research, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Product Innovation Management, Journal of International Marketing, Marketing Letters and others. Prior to joining Price College, Professor Schmidt taught at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Fred Smith
FRED SMITH [Top]
INSTRUCTOR OF MARKETING
AND SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT

MBA (Texas) Professor Smith's teaching emphasis is in sales, negotiation and promotion management. He wrote the highly regarded International Logistics, the award winning article "Institutional Change in Retailing: the Theories and the Problems" and the best-selling Road to the Top. Professor Smith joined the Price College faculty after a distinguished military, business and consulting career. In addition to his academic and administrative responsibilities, he has been a consultant on selling, sales management and marketing management.

JEFFREY P. WALLMAN [Top]Jeffrey Wallman
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF MARKETING

Professor Wallman's (Ph. D. - University of Wisconsin - Madison) teaching interests are in the areas of new product development, marketing management and marketing strategy. His research interests are in the areas of entrepreneurship, marketing management and marketing strategy.  Prior to working in academia, he worked as a management consultant for the MAC group and Management Horizons, Division of Price Waterhouse LLP and later owned his own consulting practice. He also worked as a vice-president/general manager for a division of Louis Dreyfus Corporation, a subsidiary of the Louis Dreyfus Group. Prior to obtaining his Ph.D. at the University of Wisconsin, he received his BSS from Cornell College and his M.M. from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University.
